Happy birthday to goldfries.com! It’s been an awesome 2 years. I’m sure many of you remembered last year’s article.

I’m happy to say that all is well and what I looked forward to actually became reality.

More Recognition

The site has received more recognition that I ever hoped for – you’ll find out about the other brands soon enough. And yes, more product reviews to come.

Increased Visitors

Daily visitors have increase by 50% compared to last year’s, the site now has about 350 unique visitors on average.

I’ve not done much in promoting and marketing the site either. Just a Facebook group and forum signature, along with photos on Flickr. Basically the site got traffic mostly from “word of mouth” (referral) and search engine.

Earn More

Here’s what I said last year……

Yes, the site actually managed to earn a little over RM 700 via various monetization means, not bad for a 1-year-old blog. Not the best, not a record breaker but certainly an achievement that I never thought the site could attain within the first year, considering the fact that I haven’t been doing much promotion and marketing for the site itself.

goldfries.com now makes a fair bit more than that on a monthly basis! Let’s not go into counting the value of goods allocated to the site for review purpose.

Moving Forward – 3rd Year

More more more and more of everything………. everything good that is. I hope to be reach PRO-blogger status soon, meaning doing it as a profession and having it as my primary source of income.

Even my food blog is growing pretty well.
