Improve Your Photos with Shapes

In this article, I will show you how shapes can be used to create interesting photos.

Why Shapes?

Shapes are something all of us could relate to, we were taught about shapes since childhood. We live with shapes throughout our lives and we’re surrounded by them, whether you notice them or not.

By applying shapes in the photos we take, we could turn it into a nice work of art!

Shapes In Pictures? How?

Let’s have a look at how SHAPES appear in pictures.

In the following examples, I’ll show the ORIGINAL photo on the left while on the right, I’ll have an illustration that shows the shapes that appeared in the photo.

I won’t be elaborating, the examples below speak for itself.

Notice how shapes can subtly appear in your photos?

With careful composition, you could bring out the shapes in photos. Some of them could turn out to be masterpieces that are worth framing up on a wall or two. Emoticon

Getting In Shape!

While shapes aren’t a requirement in photographic composition, carefully placed lines could result in interesting combination of shapes that make a great photo.
