Malaysian Wildlife
Steve, a friend of mine over at our local tech community forum started a blog a few weeks back. The blog is specially focused on Malaysia wildlife.
You can visit the blog at Save the Nature for the Future .
Being Malaysians, many of us are actually unaware of the beautiful floras and faunas that cover the country. Strangely we always look forward to make journey to many countries around the globe when there are many beautiful sights around our homeland that we’ve not seen.
Good job Steve!

It isn’t everyday that I stumble upon a Malaysian blogger who has a “Nature, Environment & Conservation” category, you know =) And I’m delighted to have found one today! =)

pelf - I’ve always been interested in Nature and Wildlife.
I was thinking hard on what to name the category, Steve’s site is just what I’m looking to participate around, and saw yours - all the more reasons!
Not that people from KL don’t cherish it, just that in my years in KL - I miss the fact that back in Kelantan, the beach WAS only 8KM away from my house.
and the forest was not far away either.

Hey brian, thanks for the entries. Really appreciate it.
), and if we don’t start act from now, when then?
The reason is simple, we educate them to love(younger generation and people who have their time tied up), and we let them know how beautiful this wildlife is to them. No doubt that works might takes the life out of us, but I believe we need to take some of our time to appreciate the things around us. And like what goldfries said, yea, forest and beach are taken everyday for development purpose(just look at Melaka beach now

No, I’m not from Terengganu, but I’ve been here for 6 years. I’m studying in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, and the campus is by the beach. I did Marine Biology and had a lot of experience and fun in the sea, but that’s not what Giving Hands is all about.
In fact, it is about creating and spreading awareness on matters that concern all of us, regardless of whether we address those matters or not.
Cheers!

Steve - even the small forest area around my housing area are getting cleared day by day.
not good.
pelf - regardless, at least you understood the beauty of nature.
Marine Biology should be damn fun to study. I’m planning on scuba diving pretty soon, just not sure when. Just need to go through my OW courses first. hehe.
