Daniel’s Night Out
EDITED : OK. the pictures are out of position because I changed some CSS lately so just bear with the mis-aligned pictures la. It’s not like you can’t enjoy the content anyway, stop complaining la.
It all started with a phone call from my sister-in-law Joanne to my wife, a last minute invitation for us to join a surprise birthday party for Daniel. So “OK LAH!” we accepted the invitation and looked forward to the dinner.
Fast-forward to about 6 hours later, we were already at SeoGung Korean BBQ Restaurant at SS2, Petaling Jaya. WE, as in my wife and I. That’s it. The rest? Aihhh…… where got so early wan? So wait lor, stomach growling already still have to wait. Slowly more and more friends arrive, even so we still had to hold back Daniel until most of us arrived.
As you can see from the photo above, most of us were so hungry our face actually turned dark. (Ok la. I’m lousy camera-man say so la. No need to say so much already).
So the moment finally came, Joanne told us that they’re near and are heading towards the place. Sure, great! So we lit the candles as we await the birthday boy. Seems like a good idea at that time but soon the candles were wearing out and we were kinda thinking whether should we just put those candles off first.
Fortunately for us, the birthday boy arrived just in time to save the day! Ok well more like to save the moment, after all the birthday surprise wouldn’t be nice if the candles were not there anymore.
After that it was food all the way and take a look at the picture on your right. Yup! That’s my favorite for the way, I do wish they had served more of it but I can’t be that greedy. So ok la, I fill my stomach with other stuff like the cake and whatever else that come along.
Here’s a bird’s-eye view of what we had for the night and that’s just 2/3 of the table we’re seated at. I doubt you could make out any of the dish either.
See that on the left? I didn’t know what was that dish was, even though it was probably my best shot for the night. While I was busy snapping pictures most of the time, the rest of us were having a good time eating and chatting away.
A few others came pretty late though, Rachel, Phillip & Emmanuel for example, fortunately for them there’s plenty of place to sit and plenty of food to eat.
And here’s another shot that I like, as you can see I was busy honing my shutter skills, practising composition and understanding of lights and lens.
As the meal approached it’s close, we presented Daniel his birthday gift, wrapping nicely crafted by my wife.
What was the gift for him? A Kaiyodo Revoltech Megatron! Straight from Japan! (I hope you like it Daniel!! Don’t like it can always return it!
)
Ouhh….. look at the damage done! Oh my, aren’t we fierce when it comes to table manners?
No bowl was left unturned and no mercy was shown on whatever that was presented to us.
And that was how the night ended, at least that was where it ended on my side. Sorry la I can’t list out the full details cos my brain not so powerful. You guys may chip in!
