Our Minister In Action

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

I was surprised when a friend of mine showed me this video.

Malaysian minister interviewed on Kuala Lumpur protests
(Embed disabled by Youtube).

I don’t know what else to say. It not only sounds retarded, it sounded like he doesn’t even understand what the host was asking.

It sounded unintelligent, it sounded as if it was blatant denial instead of answering the question.

Perhaps he was looking for the word “perception” rather than “expectation”. And was than “election” or “erection”? Nevertheless, it wasn’t a discussion. It doesn’t sound like an Interview. It’s just a mindless babel.

And what’s that “we allow protest” followed by “is illegal protest “…….. I don’t know, he was very lousy in articulation.

And is bashing other countries and the news channel? Was that necessary?

Anyway, I do hope we can take this video as a lesson and improve. Perhaps we should look into Ministers would could speak better?

Buy A Spaceship? Space Day? ZOMG!!!!

Monday, November 12th, 2007

Oh great. So now we’re considering to BUY that spaceship just because someone made it to space? The fact that they’re CONSIDERING means there ARE people who think that we should buy it!

It’s just space! Many people have done that, it’s nothing grand considering Americans landed on the moon some half-a-century ago.

Look here Gov’t, I’d rather you spend that money on Proton and Perodua to ensure that all new cars come with Air Bags or something more productive. Why spend on a super-pricey memorabilia when you can spend on the citizen’s safety and comfort?

And declaring a Space Day? Ridiculous but I don’t mind if it adds to the list of Public Holidays. ;)

ferry tragedy

Earlier today, my friend Johnny told me that his girlfriend’s brother was found – DEAD. :( He was one of the missing people following the ferry tragedy that happened just a few days back on Saturday, which so happens to be a holiday weekend celebrating Hari Raya.

I’ll let Johnny do the details at his blog, I will go on to express MY opinion regarding this debacle and various other things.
