Here’s one for those looking for a unique casing, the Raven RV05 from Silverstone. It’s not the first time a casing from SilverStone with unique placement for components and the RV05 wouldn’t be the last.

From every angle the Raven RV05 looks like a stealth aircraft, something like say the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk. The grill on top is removable and underneath the grill are the I/O ports and PCI-E slots.

What did I just say? Yes, it’s as what I said – that’s how the placement goes.

The downside of this design is
a) dust accumulation
b) really shitty situation should someone spill drinks on it, just hope that the mesh is able to keep the damage to a minimal.
c) cables have to travel all the way to nearly the front of the casing, especially for USB cables.

The front view of the Raven RV05 is sleek, with a V-shaped white LED strip and also a slot for slim optical drives. What’s annoying about the slim optical drive slot is that the cover is almost impossible to put back into place should it be removed, and it also leaks light if you’re into having LEDs within the casing.

At the back of the casing is just a single ventilation that’s for the PSU intake.
