Hey goldfries, I think you're not allowed to write/delete DATA on the Seagate FreeAgent Go Ext. HDD because it's formatted as NTFS by default. And by default, Mac OS is not allowed to write/delete DATA on NTFS-formatted volume. You'd have to install 3rd-party software to write/delete DATA on NTFS-formatted volume in Mac like "Paragon NTFS". Another method is by formatting the Ext. HDD into HFS (Default Mac OS filesystem).

Hey goldy,

When you mentioned sync, can it sync to folder(s) in a drive? Also, does it have a schedule backup option?

I want something which can do the above. Otherwise, it's an NAS. LOL! :P
