AMD A-Series APU Media Launch
August 17th, 2011 | Viewed 2093 timesAMD held a launch of their A-Series APU (in Malaysia) just yesterday, 16th August at The Boulevard Hotel, Mid Valley City.
For those who are unclear – the APU isn’t something the enthusiasts would look at, AMD has the Phenoms to cater to them. The APU is suitable for the casual users and also users who actively create content, such as video editing.
Sure, there are the AMD Phenom X6 and Intel Core i5 / i7 out there but bear in mine the AMD A-series APU quite a fair bit cheaper, does the work very well and supports dual-graphics system as well. Desktops aside, the A-Series APU is also available in the mobile computing arena, with brands like Asus, MSI, Acer and many others beginning to incorporate it to bring better user experience.
More details about AMD Vision at AMD website.
